Our Mission

Preserving & Simplifying Open Source Tools

We are a community-driven initiative dedicated to keeping Engauge Digitizer accessible, documented, and easy to use for researchers worldwide.

The Story Behind This Website

Engauge Digitizer has long been the gold standard for open-source graph digitizing. However, around 2022, the original official repository became inactive, and locating stable binary installers for Windows and macOS became increasingly difficult for new users.

Students and researchers were often lost in complex GitHub threads or forced to compile code from source. We built EngaugeDigitizer.com to fix this.

We are not the original developers. Instead, we serve as a documentation hub and file archive. We verify the latest community builds, scan them for safety, and provide the step-by-step tutorials that the official manual lacked.
